Post Harvest Handling and Storage of Tulips

Since this video was posted a couple of weeks ago, I started storing all tulips in buckets with water/no bulb. I was holding the initial 1/3 of the crop with the bulb on in crates and they have held great for 2.5 weeks. It's much more efficient as well when it comes time to make bouquets and make them quickly. Next season, we will continue to store in water in a 33-34 degree fahrenheit cooler.
