Frost Damage on Tulips

I wanted to share with you what frost damage looks like on tulips. We experienced temperatures in the teens (fahrenheit), and the tulips that were damaged were those that were budded up and ready to bloom. The more mature they were, the more likely they were to receive damage. We had to throw out about 25% of the tulips between two varieties.
