Miracle Gro is my go to soil mix. I have tried professional and commercial seed starting mixes, but due to our low humidity they often dry out much faster than I like. Miracle Gro Potting mix has never let me down.

I use a 72 cell Bootstrap Farmer tray for every single seed we start here. It takes the decision making out, and it has streamlined our seed starting process. We use the 1020 flat tray for the bottoms. Here is our affiliate link. It doesn't cost you any extra, and it does support our farm :)
